Muscat Festival

Muscat Festival is a comprehensive annual festival that takes place in the Sultanate of Oman from January 18 to February 10 of each year. Held for the first time in 1998, the festival represents a cultural gateway between peoples, highlighting Omani music, crafts, professions, food and heritage. It aims to stimulate domestic and foreign tourism in the Sultanate of Oman, at a time when the weather is mild and the temperature is mild. Muscat during that period is full of lights, and there are many outdoor and indoor advertisements and sponsorship activities for events and events.

The festival's activities range from shopping sales, entertainment and marketing events, to craft pavilions and local industries such as the Omani sweet industry, the Sadu industry, and the Omani incense. It also allocates spaces for each country in which its folk and lyrical arts are displayed by visiting groups, in addition to beach parties that attract famous singers of the Arab world, theatrical performances and aviation shows, as the famous aviation groups visit the Sultanate during that period. The Muscat Festival has a specific place called the Festival Square, located in the Azaiba area, in addition to the floating theater in the Qurum Natural Park in the Qurum district. And in 2013, it was held in Al-Amerat Natural Park.
