Overview
Al-Hazm Fort, located in the town of Al-Hazm in the Wilayat of Rustaq in the Al-Batinah region of the Sultanate of Oman. The great military stronghold in Al-Hazm makes maximum use of the traditional Omani defensive features such as the huge wooden gate, secret escape tunnels, dungeons, gun towers and slots on the upper floors, and there are drops above the main entrance to pour oil or boiled date honey on the rushing attackers.
